Agapanthes is a European jacquard wall tapestry. It is an extract taken from a wallpaper called Eden painted in 1861 by French illustrator Joseph Fuchs (1814-1888). This very large painting represents a beautiful forest. It enabled the new bourgeoisie to travel to imaginary countries while in the comfort of a home.
