Duc De Bretagne, or Duke of Brittany, is a jacquard tapestry cushion cover from France. It comes from the Famille De France collection depicting the medieval peerage of France. The companion piece to this one is #5500, Duc De Bourbon. Brittany is a cultural region in the north-west of France. After the time of Roman occupation, it became an independent kingdom and then a duchy before being united to the Kingdom of France in 1532.
