About
Aurore is a Belgian wall tapestry. The original was created in 1884 by the painter and architect Charles-Louis Genuys, professor at the Art School of Limoges. The three french schools of decorative art at that time are each represented: Paris, Limoges, & Aubusson . Aurore and Aimée is a French literary fairy tale written by Jeanne-Marie Le Prince de Beaumont. Like her better known tale Beauty and the Beast, it is among the first fairy tales deliberately written for children. An elegantly impressive accent to add sophistication to your home décor motif.
