Le Pressoir French Tapestry

Le Pressoir, or the Press, is a jacquard wall tapestry woven in France with the Halluin stitch. This work is a reproduction of a high warp French tapestry from the second half of the 15th century, now on display at the Museum of Cluny in Paris. The scene depicts the harvesting and processing of grapes for wine in medieval times. The background is done in the millefleurs style upon a black backdrop.
