Rendezvous Galant French Tapestry

Rendezvous Galant is a European jacquard wall tapestry based on the drawings of Maurice Jacques and Louis Tessier. Faithful reflection of a gentle and refined time, this romantic scene is pictured in a medallion. The original tapestries of which the earliest sketches are recorded in 1758, were woven at the Royal Manufacture of Gobelins from 1765.
