About
Holy Trinity Icon is an Italian jacquard woven wall tapestry. The original artwork dates from the first quarter of the 15th century believed to be created by Russian painter Andrei Rublev. Trinity depicts the three angels who visited Abraham at the Oak of Mamre (see. Genesis 18,1-15), but the painting is full of symbolism and often interpreted as an icon of the Holy Trinity.
