For centuries, battle and war scenes provided the central themes of artwork as honorarium and historical record. Our Ronald’s Battle Wall Tapestry is inspired by these significant works from the Medieval ages. With flowers framing the tapestry and gracing the fronts of the soldier’s shields, this scene is reminiscent of the War of the Roses, the English civil wars fought for control of the English Throne. Two knights with plumed helmets fight from horseback in the center of the tapestry while slain soldiers lay at their feet. A castle can be seen in the top right while a river flows in the lower left. Finely woven in luxe viscose/cotton/polyester blend, the tapestry boasts bright hues of blue, red, gold and green. Lined back and tunneled top for ease of installation.
